16 wooden skewers

600g of mince (150g raw weight per person)

2 shallots, chopped finely

3 cloves of garlic, chopped finely

1.5 Tbsp rice flour

1 Tbsp fish oil

1 Tbsp sesame oil

1 tsp honey or maple syrup

½ tsp salt

½ tsp pepper


Put all ingredients in a large bowl and mix. Leave for 30 minutes. At the same time, place the skewers in a bowl of water and soak.


At the end of the 30 minutes, divide the mince into 16 balls, then shape them into a small oval shape and put them around a skewer. Once completed all 16, dip half of the ball in sesame seeds.


Cook them on the BBQ or under the grill for 3-4 minutes each side (or until cooked through).


Serve with Pea, Cauliflower and Wasbi Mash and Asian Greens with Oyster Sauce and Ginger.
